Advertising for the best affiliate networks is an ideal strategy for becoming an affiliate. Anyone with an established website will make money in marketing.

Advertisements on an affiliate’s website can mean generating money. One method of entering the affiliate market is by using affiliate networks. These networks are designed to connect people with businesses who need an affiliate. Affiliate networks are administered by a company which does all the organization and coordination as they find companies for affiliates.

Affiliate networks make it easier in the sense they connect affiliates with businesses; however the affiliate maintains their own website. The goal of an affiliate is to maximize traffic to their website, in order to maximum conversions and income.

Best Affiliate Networks

There are several affiliate networks which are considered to have the best services for affiliates. This is based on their corporate connections and compensation packages.

Commission Junction provides specific services for affiliates, which include:

 • Performance based incentives for increased traffic generation and conversions.
 • Flexible payment incentives.
 • Analytical tracking data for conversion rates, traffic generation, and more.
 • An assigned account manager for coordinating affiliate program.
 • The ability to be an affiliate for the top-tiered advertisers.
 • Weekly offers for traffic generation and conversions.
 • Analytical tacking data to determine return on investment (ROI), conversion rates, traffic generation by the affiliate, and more.

LinkShare provides specific advantages for affiliates, which include:

 • The ability to select which advertisers they choose to affiliate with, subject to approval by LinkShare.
 • Online seminars for optimizing marketing efforts
 • A monthly newsletter to keep affiliates up to date with changes in the program and new advertisers.
 • Affiliate must have a well positioned website and an appropriate URL name to represent advertisers for LinkShare, having high traffic flow is also helpful.

ShareASale provides specific advantages for affiliates, which include:

 • The ability to select whichever merchants they choose to affiliate with, subject to approval by Share A Sale.
 • Share A Sale is a global affiliate marketing company, so it has affiliates in many countries and represents international merchants.
 • Affiliate must have an established website on the Internet, with an appropriate URL name to represent merchants.
 • An affiliate who refers someone to Share A Sale will receive (if they join) $1 and 5 % of all their future earnings.

Affiliate Programs for Compensation

There are several options for affiliate compensation from which to choose, such as:

 • Commission – affiliate receives a percentage of every sale which is a direct result of click through traffic from the affiliates website
 • Pay per Click (PPC) – affiliate receives a flat rate for every click through to a company’s website
 • Pay per Lead (PPL) – affiliate is paid for every person who signs up for something, as a result of a click through an affiliate website
 • Residual Income – company pays an affiliate every time a customer renews their services or purchases additional products after initial click through an affiliate’s website
 • Pay per Sale (PPS) – affiliate receives a flat rate every time a person purchases a product or service after clicking through an affiliate website

There are a lot of opportunities for those who want to become affiliates using an affiliate network. The great thing about these networks is having access to companies who need affiliates for advertising which most affiliates will not have access to otherwise. For those who are new to affiliate advertising, starting off with a network is a good approach to gain experience.

Very nice article. :)Am not sure if you're just not aware of them since I guess they haven't been around quite as long as the others that you've mentioned, but there's definitely another network that you should include. AvantLink is definitely liked quite a bit by their affiliates. I'm honestly not spamming your article, just letting you know about them. I didn't include any referral link or anything like that, it's just a regular ole link to their site. :)

Don't want to make this post into an advertising for them either. You can judge them for yourself. :) Will say though that most affiliates really do like the tools that they offer their affiliates and affiliates are definitely respected by them very much. They listen to their opinions and are always trying to make improvements for them. If an affiliate for some reason has a problem or maybe needs a little help with something there's always a very helpful person to help. A real person you can contact and get a reply from very quickly.:)

Enough said, lol :) I belong to all of the networks in your article and each offer something in their own way to their affiliates. Just thought they deserved to also be included and considered by others.
